USFS

ALL of our local Clubs and Group Supporters, please note this NFS Trails 101 opportunity on January 24 and 31.

This is a direct way to get involved and make a real impact. The Forest Service is looking to train volunteers how to better assist in their planned future trail assessment and maintenance collaboration effort.

The curriculum that will be presented is the full seminar series developed by the Natinal Off Highway Vehicle Conservation Counsel (NOHVCC). Intended to bring all OHV groups and land managing agencies to a common understanding and partnership regarding
the best practices in the planning, construction, maintenance, and management of successful trail systems.

"Attached below is an electronic flyer for the January 24 and 31, Trails 101 Course and Field Demonstration, respectively. Please disseminate far and wide to those interested in trails and particularly sustainability, maintenance, and the OHV trail systems. This should be two great opportunities for learning more about trails and working together on the trails. Hoping to see you all there!"
